Here at Optical Outlets, we do a lot more than just sell contacts. We are a full-service store, which means that you are assured of the most accurate prescription, optimal comfort, and getting the exact type of our Ocoee contact lenses that are ideal for you. With our contact lens exams and fittings, you can be confident of having the best possible experience now and moving forward.
A contact lens is more involved and detailed than the routine eye exam you get every year. It has to be, because our Ocoee contact lenses go right up against your eyes. They touch the conjunctiva, corneas, and eyelids. Those are all parts that may have problems that have gone undiagnosed and unnoticed until now. But just as a small mouth lesion might only be discovered when wearing braces, so too can eye issues only become evident when it is time to put in a pair of contacts. Difficulties can range from minor to serious, but most of the time there is nothing to worry about, or it is something that can be remedied fairly easily. Better to find out ahead of time, however. With prescription in hand, you will be helped by our optical department by having a fitting done. Not every variety of our Ocoee contact lenses are perfect for everyone. Based on your individual needs and preferences, you may find that some feel better and more natural than others. You’ll know for sure after the fitting is completed. In addition, you will be shown how to properly center your new contacts to get the most vision correction out of them.
Are you ready to start enjoying the benefits of sharper and clearer vision? If so, then reach out to our office to schedule our contact lens exam and fitting right now.
Our Optical Outlets practice provides diagnosis and vision corrections for individuals with all forms of refractory problems, which many people have in the form of nearsightedness (myopia). However, as many of us age we can develop a problem with seeing objects that are close clearly (presbyopia), corrective lenses set in designer frames 34761 fix both these problems.
For patients that use eyeglasses for myopia the emergence of presbyopia at about age 40 or so can complicate the challenge of seeing at all distances. In order to focus on objects that are distant and then those that are close the viewer would have to switch eyeglasses quite often. Our optical practice alleviates this problem by prescribing and then fabricating eyeglasses that feature multifocal lenses; lenses that contain more than one focal power to facilitate clear vision at more than one distance. Bifocals contain two different focal powers, with the distance power on the top and the close vision focal power underneath in one of our designer frames 34761. The bottom portion of the lens can be configured in several different shapes with the straight complete bottom portion of the lens being the most popular type of lens. The patient looks straight through the lens to see far away objects and looks down slightly to see close objects or read. Trifocals have three focusing powers in the lens; the middle portion of the lens is for intermediate objects such as those at arms length, computer work is an example of intermediate vision.
Many people can benefit from bifocals or trifocals but do not like the look of the lines that separate the different lens components. Our optical shop also provides progressive eyeglass lenses, which feature the bi- or trifocal lenses without any lines instead each segment of the lens blends seamlessly into one another with one of our designer frames 34761. If your vision has changed and you are beginning to have trouble seeing close objects call our office for an appointment and start to see everything clearly again.
